SMTP error from remote server after transfer of mail text

The email I copied below, has been sent to me every day or so for a couple of weeks.  It is being sent to (actually, I guess from) an email address that we have published, so the public does see it.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Looks like a standard spoofed email message.
The spammer has put your email address in the From line, with the targets in the BCC line.
