Joomla! 1.5 - Search Variable

Asked by iainmurphy in Web Site Statistics Software / WebTrends, PHP and Databases, WebApplications

My web site is spiwebanalytics.com and I would like to capture the value of the search entered into the search box. I am not too familiar with PHP (although I am with HTML) and wouldn't know how to do what I want to do.

Basically, I want to track my web sites search activity and I need to get a parameter populated with a value (which will ultimately be a dynamic variable due to the nature of the query made - could be anything) and inserted into the HTML.

The parameters I need are: WT.oss and WT.oss_r. WT.oss is the search value and WT.oss_r = 1 for successful search and 0 for failed.

Can someone please help me?Start Free Trial
