Hi,
I need some help with a small problem that is, in my opinon, a bit annoying.
Ok, as "pcitures are worth thousand words", pls refer to the attached JPG. It shows the following:
- View of two HTM sites that have been posted to a server
- I used red vertical lines (lined them up witht the "s" of "Resumes" favorite link) to show that they offset by a few millimeters or pixels. [The top left white corner is left to the red line vs. the other top left corner is to the right of the red line]
Now, you might jump to the conclusion that the tables are simply of a differnt size. No, based on my assessment, they're identical in size.
During the development (in Frontpage) of the two pages, I've done the following:
- copied page2 from page1 and then modified page2
- I've only added information to increase the amount of text (and/or subtables) that affect the vertical content. Nothing has been changed on page2 to make the "centerbox" (I don't fill up the whole page) wider.
- AND, in Frontpage preview, clicking from page1 to page2 and back to page1, the "center box" of the two pages 100% aligned (no misalignment in preview mode occurs).
What's causing the problem? How can I fix it?
Thanks,
Tom
