Group Database Results

I have a page with a search form and database results.

Is there a way to group the results - for example, if the user searches a Chemical Name.  I may have 5-10 results for that Chemical Name - but I only want it to show "CHEMICAL" once, and not all 5-10 times??

Is there a way to group the results - similiar to how you can in Access itself??

Does menu Data > Sort ang Group, and then "Show group header" help you?

If only one chemical name is to be found, then I would simply show the table without that column,
just with the text above the table.

You can change the SQL to SELECT DISTINCT.  This will only show the distinct chemicals in the list.  For example, this will be like your current SQL:

fp-sQry = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE Chemical = ..."

change it to

fp-sQry = "SELECT DISTINCT Chemical FROM table WHERE Chemical = ..."

OK - you need to put your code on 'diet'  There is a macro here - http://www.kallsmart.com/macro/- that does it for you.  After the FP webbots are removed, you can edit the SQL.
