Microsoft PPTP VPN times out

Trying to establish a Windows PPTP connection through a SonicWall TZ180 and using Routing and Remote Access on a Windows 2000 Server. The connection is established, and when authentication is attempted it hangs and eventually times out. We have many other users who are successfully establishing tunnels so the server/firewall config must be correct.

The particular client I am working with is XP SP3, but I also have a SP2 client not working (same timeout).

Any ideas?
