The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Computer reboots after failing dumpcheck.

When we boot up this windows 2000 computer it reboots almost immediatly after words with the following error:

Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini081908-04.dmp.

This seemed to occur after a power outage so I assume some hardware is having a problem even though they had a UPS with surge protection on.  I can send the dump upon request but it will not allow me to post it here.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as we need to get this machine up ASAP.

One other item is that when we turn on safe mode the computer works fine.
