Hi,
I am hosting the default FTP site on an IIS Server on Windows 2003. I have set up a "Security Account" and I do not have the "Allow only anonymous connections" checkbox checked..
Now,when I try to ftp to the server it errors out with the following error message
C:\>ftp gbi-test
Connected to gbi-test.
220-Microsoft FTP Service
220 Praveen Durbha's FTP Site
User (gbi-test:(none)): gbitest
331 Password required for gbitest.

530 User gbitest cannot log in.
Login failed.
ftp>
The server is part of a workgroup and not a domain...is that a requirement? Also, I am able to ping the server, so its visible
What am I missing here? I am sure I am..
Thanks
